Jersey City arts nonprofit revamping historic White Eagle Hall holding holiday fundraiser
The Jersey City nonprofit set to be part of a historic Downtown building’s rebirth from famed basketball landmark to arts center is raising money for its upcoming ventures next month.
Jersey City Theater Center, which operates at new Downtown JC venue Merseles Studios and will also have programming at the historic White Eagle Hall next door, is holding a holiday fundraiser on Dec. 15 at Puccini’s on West Side Avenue.
“JCTC’s mission is to present ongoing theater and arts programming that embraces the cultural diversity of Jersey City (while) preserving its history and unifying its community. We’ve had a great start and with this fundraiser, we feel that now our future really begins,” said Artistic Director Olga Levina.
