NY/NJ PATH

From Lower Manhattan (30 Min): Enter the PATH train along 6th Avenue at 33rd, 23rd, 14th and 9th Street or Christopher Street. Enter the train heading to Journal Square and exit at the Grove Street stop. At Grove Street head west towards the pedestrian plaza and restaurant row. Walk along Newark Avenue for about 5 blocks and arrive in front of White Eagle Hall. White Eagle Hall is located between 4th and 5th street along Newark Avenue.

From World Trade Center (20 Min): Enter PATH train in Oculus and enter train heading to Newark. Exit at Grove Street and head west towards the pedestrian plaza and restaurant row. Walk along Newark Avenue for about 5 blocks and arrive in front of White Eagle Hall. White Eagle Hall is located between 4th and 5th street along Newark Avenue.

NJ TRANSIT

From Port Authority (1 Hour): Enter Port Authority and head to terminal for 119 NJ Transit Bus to Bayonne. Exit at Journal Square Plaza and head towards Pavonia Avenue. On Pavonia Avenue head south-east for 4 blocks until Pavonia Avenue meets Newark Avenue and continue south-east past the Harismus Cove Cemetery and Fire Station. Once past Merseles Street you will come upon White Eagle Hall on your right hand side at 337 Newark Avenue.

From NJ Suburbs & Hoboken: Enter the closest NJ Transit Train to your location for service to Hoboken along Spring Valley, Suffern, Montclair-Booton (to Hoboken), Hackettstown (to Hoboken), North Jersey Coastline (to Hoboken) or connect for a train with service to Hoboken. Exit at Hoboken Terminal and follow signs to the PATH train. Take PATH train towards World Trade Center and transfer at Newport (one stop) towards Journal Square. Exit At Grove Street and head west towards the pedestrian plaza and restaurant row. Walk along Newark Avenue for about 5 blocks and arrive in front of White Eagle Hall. White Eagle Hall is located between 4th and 5th street along Newark Avenue.

White Eagle Hall includes its very own bar and food service. In addition, White Eagle Hall features two restaurants on the ground level – Cellar 335 and Madame Claude Bis. WEH is located in the thriving nightlife scene of Downtown Jersey City Restaurant Row, where there are many other restaurants and bars to enjoy.

Coat / Bag Check

For the convenience of our patrons, we provide a coat and bag check at our events for a cash fee of $5 per item.

Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, guests are refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Illegal items will be confiscated and turned over to the police. If a guest is found inside WEH with prohibited items, the items will be confiscated, and the guest may be ejected from the venue.
The following items are not permitted at White Eagle Hall:

  • Audio / Video Equipment
  • Balloons and Beach Balls
  • Backpacks of any size
  • Bags or purses over 12″x14″inches in size (with the exception of childcare or
    medical bags)
  • Cans, Bottles, Glass or Other Beverage Containers
  • Chains, Studded Bracelets, etc.
  • Coolers or Ice Chests
  • Hard sided bags of any size
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Laser Pens and Pointers
  • Noisemaking Devices (i.e. Whistles, Air Horns, Drums, Horns, Vuvuzelas)
  • Outside Food and Beverage
  • Professional Photography Equipment
  • Selfie Sticks and GoPros
  • Poles to Display Banners, Flags, etc.
  • Signs with wires, lights, and/or batteries
  • Skateboards and/or Rollerblades
  • Un-approved Pamphlets, Handouts, Advertisements, etc.
  • Weapons (i.e. Knives, Pepper Spray, Tear Gas, Handcuffs, Stun Guns, etc.)
  • Firearms
